Infertility

Infertility is the inability to achieve pregnancy in a sexually active couple, who is not using any contraception. Primary infertility is when a woman is unable to bear a child after trying for at least a year. Secondary infertility is when a woman who has had a previous child is not getting pregnant in 6 months – to 1 year of trying. Infertility affects around 10 to 15 % of the population.
